Kernel 2.6.28 with thinkfinger

I’ve updated to zen-sources 2.6.28-zen1 and there is a problem in 2.6.28 with the fingerprint reader (usb) on my notebook. So I searched the web and found a bug report with a patch for these sources. I tried this and will tell you that it works fine for me. I hope this will be soon released.
- Howto install the kernel
- download the Patch
- and then patch… $ patch -p1 < downloaded_patch
- now rebuild the kernel and install it.

There were a lot of comments in russian language. Since we don’t speak russian, I included those where the automatic translation made some sense for me. This is also the reason for which appears to be “rarely updates”.
The site may appear in russian language for you, but this is just automatic translation (and maybe far from perfect).
Maybe I did not include some comments with important content because I was not able to translate them. If this is the case please resubmit in english language.
